Dilaasa

Dilaasa, India's first hospital based crisis intervention department for Women was established at K. B. Bhabha hospital, Bandra to make the public health care system accountable to the issue of domestic violence. It was set up in 2001 as a collaboration of the public health department of the MCGM (Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai) and CEHAT (the research centre of the Anusandhan trust).
