Debating Poverty
eSS announces the first of a series of eSSays dossiers on issues of public concern.
This series of eSSays is an attempt to fill that gap and make social and economic
research impacting policy available to enhance public debate in this time of change
when the country is about to engage in what has been termed the world’s largest
election. We also hope that this will constitute useful reference material to policy
makers, journalists, and ‘aam aadmi’ as well. We hope the dossiers will encourage
comment and debate.
