SHRAM Research Portal and Data Repository is conceptualized as an online knowledge community on migration in South Asia with a specific focus on India. It will mirror posts; will be a searchable repository of research in the field; make available datasets on migration; facilitate researcher interaction; help young scholars to access and work with migration data; facilitate policy and strategy formulations and eventually conduct virtual symposia/training programs on the issue.

The objective of the initiative 'System of Promoting Appropriate National Dynamism for Agriculture and Nutrition' (SPANDAN) is to contribute to the reduction of hunger and malnutrition among India's poor by increasing the evidence base for understanding the strength and dynamics of the multiple pathways between agriculture and nutrition and to provide tools to decision makers to strengthen the pathways from agriculture.

This project is aimed at the training of medical educators in state medical colleges in Maharashtra to incorporate a gender perspective in their teaching with a focus on issues of gender-based violence and discrimination.The need for this project stems from the key role that medical teachers can play in recognizing and addressing gender bias in medical education and practice.

The Network of Women in Media, India, is an association which aims to provide a forum for women in media professions to share information and resources, exchange ideas, promote media awareness and ethics, and work for gender equality and justice within the media and society. Local groups linked to the NWMI are currently functioning in 16 centres across the country.
