In this ‘Asian Century’, trade and investment flows are flourishing across the region. Transnational corporations from Southeast Asia have been expanding fast. Today, 74 of the largest 2,000 publicly listed companies in the world are based in ASEAN countries, predominantly Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.
