Legal Protection for Southeast Asian Migrant Domestic Workers: Why It Matters

This NTS Insight investigates the dynamics of the migrant-domestic-worker sector by examining the experiences of Filipino and Indonesian migrant domestic workers in Saudi Arabia and Malaysia. It explains why domestic work remains unrecognised and poorly regulated, reviews current protection measures and charts potential ways forward to address the most common protection needs of migrant domestic workers.
