Declaration Of The Fourteenth SAARC Summit

The South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) was established when its Charter was formally adopted on December 8, 1985 by the Heads of State or Government of Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Afghanistan was recognized as a full member on April 3, 2007. The total member states have been raised to eight. The Fourteenth Summit meeting of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) was held in New Delhi, India on April 3-4, 2007.
