Pakistan’s Widening Sectarian Divide

This paper looks at the latest targeted killings in Pakistan that have not only exacerbated its sectarian tensions but also exposed the failings of the civil administration in a country where the Army, despite its historic role, cannot be the sole guardian of internal peace.
