Women's Participation in the History of Ideas and Reconstruction of Knowledge

The feminist agenda raises questions on what constitute knowledge and how the disciplinary divisions are created. This questioning creates a "politics of disturbance". It unsettles the given and starts to "plough up inherited turfs without planting the same old seeds in the field".
