New Trends in Marathi Theatre: Relationship with Multicultural Indian Identity

The Indian society has been multicultural for many centuries. But the texture of this 'multicultural Indian identity' has changed drastically in the last decade or so. Earlier, when two cultures came in contact, the circle of their own beliefs and social imaginary overlapped to some extent. But today, with a vast number of social imaginaries, there are hardly any overlapping spaces.
