Consultation Paper on Foreign Investment in Broadcasting Sector

Department of Industrial Policy and promotion has recently issued revised guidelines for calculation of total foreign investment i.e. direct and indirect foreign investment in Indian companies for bringing out clarity, uniformity, consistency and homogeneity into methodology of calculation across different sectors/activities. Ministry of Information & Broadcasting has requested Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) to revisit its recommendations in view of this development. comments received may be sent to TRAI by February 08, 2010.
