Structural Transformation in the North-Eastern Region of India: Charting out an agriculture-based development policy

The paper tries to examine how far concerted policy effort to boost agricultural productivity in the region might reduce the size of the GAP and the resultant economic and social imbalances, thus providing a fillip to the region’s development process.
