Role of UNU-IIGH in Capacity Building for Sustainable Global

However, there are growing evidence showing that the undesirable effects of globalisation hit mostly the poorer countries particularly in Asia Pacific, Latin America and African regions.United Nations University –International Institute for Global Health was established after the signing of a MOU between the government of Malaysia and UNU on the 26th of May 2006. UNU-IIGH is the 14th Research and Training Centre established to carry out capacity development and facilitate the dissemination of scientific knowledge and information on key issues of global health with special focus on the needs of developing countries [Power point Presentation].
