Growth Pole Programme For Unorganised Sector Enterprise Development
Published By: National Commission for Enterprises in the Unorgan | Published Date: April, 01 , 2009Government of India constituted the National Commission for Enterprises in the Unorganised Sector (NCEUS) in September 2004 as an advisory body and a watchdog for the informal sector to bring about improvement in the productivity of these enterprises for generation of large scale employment on a sustainable basis, particularly in the informal/unorganised sector. The Commission is to recommend appropriate measures to enhance the competitiveness of the sector and provide institutional support and linkages to facilitate easy access to credit, raw material, infrastructure, technology up-gradation and marketing.
