A Status Paper on the Pharmaceutical Industry in France

As a background to the discussion, the paper first elaborates on the demographic features of France and its influence on health expenses. It then describes the drugs circuit and features of the drugs consumption, followed by a discussion on the main characteristics, the regulatory aspects, R&D intensity and innovation potential as exist in the French pharmaceutical industry.
