Crop Insurance Scheme: A Case Study Of Banana Farmers In Wayanad Districts

Banana is the single-largest crop covered under the State Crop Insurance Scheme in Kerala. This study examines the State Crop Insurance Scheme for the banana farmers in Wayanad district with a view to critically examining its rates and the problems encountered in its implementation [Discussion Paper 54].
