Report of the Working Group on Social Security for Twelfth Five Year Plan (2012-17)

It is a basic human right, and its fulfillment will contribute to achieving various developmental goals of the nation. Social security measures will have far reaching benefits in the form of reducing infant and maternity mortality rates, improving productivity and promoting sense of pride and self-respect among the citizens.
