Economic Evaluation of Minority Welfare
Published By: eSocialSciences | Published Date: November, 13 , 2014The authors review the conceptualisation, and implementation of policies related to the welfare of minority communities in India, with a special focus on Muslims
as a minority group. Using the case study of Maharashtra, the authors examine the various policies and funds allocated for those policies, up to the district level for different marginalised social and religious groups, in order to understand the larger question of the approach towards development of minority communities, especially the Muslims.
