Gujarat Gender Budget Statement 2014-15
Published By: Gender Resource Centre | Published Date: July, 01 , 2014As per census 2011, there are 289.48 lakh women and girls in the state of Gujarat, comprising 47.90 per cent of total population. “Gender Budget 2014-15” shows financial allocations for women in various categories for the year 2014- 15. The objective of preparing the Gender Budget Statement is to demonstrate the implications of the expenditure estimates in addressing issues of gender equality in terms of total public expenditure.
