EGoM cleared the Draft National Food Security Bill
Published By: ET on eSS | Published Date: July, 12 , 2011The empowered group of ministers on food on Monday approved the draft National Food Security Bill, bringing the ambitious social security programme that guarantees highly subsidized food grains to about 70per cent of the population a step closer to fruition.
The EGoM cleared the draft bill, prepared by the food ministry, without changes.
