negative by 0.6 in 2009. The economic growth rates in all the groups of
advanced economies, emerging and developing economies, developing
Asia, Middle East and North Africa, Central and Eastern Europe and newly
Industrialized Asian economies are estimated to remain lower in 2009
compared to that of 2008 and in 2008 as against that of 2007. Advanced
economies, Central and Eastern Europe and newly industrialized Asian
