Globalization and Securing Worker Rights for Women in Developing Countries

The paper reviews the impact of Globalization on developing economies workers in informal economy and gender implications on the process. Globalization created some insecurity for the workers in informal sector especially in developing countries. The study focuses especially on women workers and their rights because they are doubly burdened by the process. The paper also deals with self-employed independent producers and service workers, self employed street vendors and dependent producers. [WP No. 132].
