The Development of Global Responses to Child, Early and Forced Marriages

However, child marriage is not an isolated issue, as it often encompasses early and forced marriages, though the terms are not always interchangeable. This report will distinguish between child, early and forced marriages (CEFM) when possible, and when various national, regional and international initiatives have attempted to differentiate between them.
