Distributional Impact of Structural Adjustment on Income Inequality in Pakistan: A SAM-based Analysis

This study intends to analyze the impact of fiscal policy relating to subsidies (production and consumption subsidies), government current expenditure and expenditure on health and education on incomes of various urban and rural households in Pakistan. It attempts to seek an appropriate answer of the main research question: whether or not adjustment polices have had adverse effects on income inequality in Pakistan.
