Adverse Impacts Of Climate Change On Development Of Bhutan: Integrating Adaption Into Policies And Activities

From the existing development plans and vulnerability assessment report it is found that adverse effects of climate change including variability and natural disaster has a significant implication on the overall development of Bhutan. Six areas considered as most vulnerable to climate change are: (i) forests and biodiversity, (ii) agriculture, (iii) water resources, (iv) glacial lake outbursts, (v) health, and (vi) landslides.
