Opportunities to Enhance Non-Carbon Dioxide Greenhouse Gas Emission Mitigation in China
Published By: World Resources Institute, WRI on eSS | Published Date: June , 2016In recent years, China has developed and implemented
a range of policies to address climate change, reduce
greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, and transition toward
a low-carbon and climate-resilient society. These policies
respond both to global efforts to limit climate change, and
to China’s own need to promote sustainable development
and cleaner production methods, address air pollution and
other environmental impacts, and improve energy security. [WRI Working Paper].
