The Market Valuation of Innovation: The Case of Indian Manufacturing

The relationship between market value and innovation in the context of manufacturing firms in India was analysed, using data for 2001-2010. In a milieu where most firms do not patent, the concern was whether ‘small’ innovations would be valued by the stock market. [Working Paper No. 237].
