Internal Migration and the Development Nexus: The Case of Bangladesh

that often ignore this dynamic process. Migration has resumed greater importance as a component of people’s livelihood strategies and in shaping the national economy following improvements in markets, communications and transport and access to electricity. The paper aims to review existing policies related to migration in order to examine the relationship between migration and development.
